Every interior partition wall was removed from the first floor of this home near Millennium Park to create an open plan for entertaining of the grandest scale. The limestone fireplace was added to provide a focal point and define the living space from the ample dining room and kitchen. A soft neutral palette was laid with rich textures including satin wool and mohair, woven wallcoverings, honed marble, and dark walnut wood. What started as a chopped up, white walled space straight from the developer, ended as a luxurious and elegant approach to urban living.
