This kitchen was a complete overhaul of the former space. Partnering with structural engineers, we cored through the central concrete slab to relocate the sink to the center of the kitchen, opening the wall to the lower level and allowing for a grand white marble island to anchor the space. Side-by-side refrigeration and freezer columns with a built-in pantry, all paneled in walnut with custom polished nickel accents, balance the large island and break up the white perimeter cabinetry.

Visual interest was added to a long span of cabinetry, the appliances and a large pantry were built out as a focal point. Centered with the expansive island, the dark walnut cabinetry grounds the kitchen while polished nickel accents add bespoke details.

The nearby first floor bath became a jewel box powder room, adding luxe materials such as Bellagio marble, polished nickel and glazed plaster wallcovering.
